Snagroot

Action · 30 ft · V, S, M (a knot of root) · Instantaneous

Cantrip, action, 30 ft, instantaneous. A gnarled root whips up out of the ground under a creature you can see: a ranged spell attack for 1d8 bludgeoning (2d8 from level 5). If the target is Large or smaller, isn't flying and stands on difficult terrain — rubble, undergrowth, shallow water, a thicket, grease — it is also knocked prone.
