Action, 30 ft, 8 hours. A phantom watchdog that only you can see takes up a post: an enemy that steps within 5 ft of it, or ends its turn there, makes a DEX save or takes 4d8 force from its bite. On a later turn a bonus action sends it up to 30 ft, and it bites whoever it lands beside. Nothing can harm it, and it needs no concentration.
